What is Chhath Puja?
Chhath is austere and spectacular at once: lakhs of vratis stand waist-deep in rivers and tanks at dusk and dawn, offering arghya to Surya and Chhathi Maiya. Thekua, rice kheer and sugarcane are the prasad.
