Tools
Free tools, computed by the same engine.
Bela's free tools put the engine on the web: find shubh muhurat dates by activity and month, see today's Rahu Kaal with a live marker, and read all 16 choghadiya blocks for 50 cities — every value computed from true local sunrise, every rule shown. Kundli matching, birth chart and Mangal Dosha live in the app.

These need your birth details, which the web tools never ask for — they ship with the Bela app.

Frequently asked questions
Are these tools really free?
Yes — the web tools are ungated, need no sign-up, and read the same engine-exported data the static panchang and muhurat pages render. The app adds the personal layer (Tara Bala, Chandra Bala, dashas) on top.
Where do the dates and times come from?
Every value is computed by Bela's deterministic Vedic-astrology engine (drik ganit, Lahiri ayanamsa, mean nodes) from each city's true coordinates — nothing is hand-entered or scraped from another calendar. The methodology page lists the exact classical rules applied.
Do the tools use my birth details?
No. The web tools work at the universal level: the panchang for your city and nationally-valid muhurat dates for Delhi (IST). Judging a window against your own birth star needs your chart — that is what the Bela app does.
Why do some tools say 'in the app'?
Kundli matching, the birth chart and Mangal Dosha need your exact birth time and place, which the anonymous web tools deliberately never ask for. They live in the app, where your details stay on your device.
